Clucker's moves to new nest in Highwood

Clucker's, famous for their chicken specialties and sauces, has now opened its doors at a new location in Highwood. Clucker's offers only hormone-free, natural chicken with a range of toppings. Specialty sauces include grilled pineapple, basil pesto, honey, chutney and curry. Side dishes include everything from macaroni and cheese to peanut slaw. The restaurant is open daily except on Tuesdays.

Sweet Baby Ray's Restaurant in Elk Grove Village is now featuring regional barbecue selections each month to celebrate its new American barbecue menu. In June, patrons can sample some favorite barbecue fare from Eastern North Carolina. Specialties include a chopped pork sandwich with a side of Carolina coleslaw, a stack of hush puppies and a vinegar-based barbecue sauce - without sugar or tomato.

Spring at The Capital

Sample a three-course $39 prix fixe spring menu through Monday, June 8, at The Capital Grille in Rosemont. Start off the meal with a first course of asparagus soup or field greens and spring vegetables. Main courses are cedar-planked salmon, garlic herbed grilled lamb chops or a dry-aged sirloin. For patrons with a bit of room left after dinner, desserts include a lemon brûlée or a raspberry sorbet. More than 350 selections of wine are offered to pair with the restaurant's spring menu.
