Police: Chicago woman crushed by garage door

Chicago police are investigating the death of a 33-year-old woman who was apparently crushed by her garage door on the city's South Side.

The Cook County medical examiner's office identified the remains as Yneekah Garcia of Chicago.

Police were called to the scene at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and found the door on her neck.

Garcia was pronounced dead at 8 a.m.

Chicago police spokeswoman Laura Kubiak says authorities are conducting a death investigation.
