Clark grabs 2-stroke lead in Crowne Plaza

Tim Clark birdied the final hole for a 4-under 66 and a 2-stroke lead Saturday in the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Fort Worth, Texas.

Clark moved ahead of playing partner Steve Stricker by notching a birdie on the 11th hole, then strung together pars until the 18th hole.

Principal Charity Classic: Nick Price shot a 4-under round of 67 to take a 1-stroke lead into the final round of the Champions Tour Principal Charity Classic at West Des Moines, Iowa.

European Open: France's Christian Cevaer made a 12-foot birdie putt on the final hole for a 2-under 70 and share of the third-round lead with India's Jeev Milkha Singh in the wind-swept European Open at Ash, England.

NCAA championship: Texas A&M's Bronson Burgoon hit a gap wedge from the rough to within 3 inches of the 18th hole Saturday afternoon to win his match and clinch the first NCAA Division I men's golf championship for the Aggies in the tournament in Toledo, Ohio.
