Cops: Traffic stop yields 20 pounds of pot

BELLEVILLE -- A Colorado man is jailed in southwestern Illinois after police say they caught him with 20 pounds of marijuana in his vehicle.
Fairview Heights police say 31-year-old Dagan Thomas of Englewood, Colo., was arrested Tuesday after being stopped for failing to use a turn signal and disobeying a traffic signal. A police drug dog allegedly detected the drugs inside Thomas' vehicle.
Thomas is charged with unlawfully trafficking and possessing marijuana with plans to deliver it.
He's jailed in Belleville on $250,000 bond.
