Northwestern's Nielson wins top lacrosse award
Senior attacker Hannah Nielsen of Northwestern captured her second straight WomensLax.com Player of the Year award.
Nielsen, who led NU to another unbeaten season and fifth straight NCAA title, is joined by two-time Attacker of the Year Katie Rowan, and NU teammate and goalie Morgan Lathrop also was honored with an individual honor.
The 2009 WomensLax.com All-American Team includes 17 players from 12 universities.
