Wrigley Field to host Triple-A game in August

The Chicago Cubs will host a second "Road to Wrigley" minor league contest on Sunday, Aug. 9 at 1:20 p.m.

Chicago's Triple-A Iowa Cubs affiliate will play Toronto's Las Vegas 51s affiliate at Wrigley Field in an official Pacific Coast League contest.

The "Road to Wrigley" game will include family-friendly priced tickets, activities for children of all ages, and traditional minor league attractions.

On July 29, 2008, the first "Road to Wrigley" game drew 32,103 fans for an official Single-A Midwest League contest between the Peoria Chiefs and Kane Cane County Cougars.

Iowa is in its 29th season of affiliation with the Chicago Cubs. Led by manager Bobby Dickerson, the club owns a 22-21 record, tied for second place in the Pacific Coast League American Northern Division and just 1.5 games out of first place.
