No war with Islam? You sure about that?

The Pope has visited Jordan and announced his deep respect for Islam. President Obama will soon visit Egypt and announce (as he has already done on Islamic television) that the United States is not at war with Islam.

I'm not holding my breath but when do you think we will hear the Grand Ayatollah of Iran (Ali Khamenei) profess his deep respect for Christianity or King Abdullah of Jordan declare that Islam is not at war with Hinduism?

I guess we have reversed President Jefferson's doctrine (aimed toward Islamic Barbary pirates) "Millions for defense and not once cent for tribute."

I don't know but this all sounds like a great deal of tribulation to me.
