Nielsen: Thank you for your support
On April 7th I was privileged to be re-elected to Arlington Heights school board, District 25. I sincerely thank everyone who voted for me. I appreciate your approval of the work that I have done as a district 25 school board member the past 12 years.
I also thank everyone who voted on April 7th, even if your vote wasn't for me. It is the American thing to do and it is very important.
I also thank the Daily Herald and many of the Arlington Heights trustees for endorsing me as well. I do appreciate their confidence in me. Last but not least, I thank the League of Women Voters and the PTA Council for hosting the forum that provided a venue for me and the other candidates seeking the office of District 25 school board to answer questions from the public and briefly state their platform and qualifications.
During the next four years I will do everything within my power to make sure our students will continue to be challenged academically in preparation for high school and their life beyond, and that the funds provided by you, the public, will be wisely and solely used for the purpose of educating our students.
