Services planned for slain Harvard woman
Family and friends in northwest suburban Harvard plan funeral services this week for a young local woman who was shot to death in Colorado.
The mother of 19-year-old Lisa Baumann says her daughter had been living in Colorado Springs when she died, but had planned to return home within a week and start college in the fall.
Authorities say Baumann was shot on Mother's Day at an apartment she shared with 24-year-old Thomas Woolly, a soldier at nearby Fort Carson.
Woolly, who was also shot in the incident, has since been charged with manslaughter.
Graveside services are scheduled for Baumann on Tuesday.
