ComEd promoted Cheryl Hyman to vice president, operations strategy and business intelligence, a new department that will cover the area of operational strategic initiatives, business intelligence and operational analysis and serve as the strategic arm of the company. Hyman was previously director of government and legislative affairs.

St. Charles-based Cooper Hong Inc. a provider of integrated marketing communications services, earned a first-place award in the product literature category for the 2009 "Measures of Success" marketing awards program, sponsored by Publications in Construction and Agriculture, a subgroup o the Association of Equipment Manufactures.

Joshua Anderson, who has been in the senior health care and housing field for over 10 years, was appointed executive director of the new Alden Gardens of Bloomingdale Supportive Living Facility. When the facility opens in 2010, Anderson will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the community and meeting the needs of residents. Currently, he is recruiting staff and vendors and assisting in the marketing efforts for the project.

AGCO Your Agriculture Company, a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment in Duluth, Ga., recognized Brent Lano, the master data management business process lead in its Batavia office, with the Chairman's Recognition of Excellence Award.
