Posturing as nice guy to our enemies

One of the first acts of President Obama was to ban harsh interrogation methods such as waterboarding, sleep deprivation, physical slaps and stress positions, although these methods fall far short of real torture. Waterboarding, the most fearsome of Obama's banned methods, is so benign that it has been used in training exercises on U.S. military personnel. Former Vice President Cheney is right. Information revealed by harsh interrogation methods has saved thousands of lives by revealing murderous al-Qaida plots, including a plan to hijack a commercial airliner and fly it into the tallest building in Los Angeles. With cooperation from our allies, at least nine other al-Qaida plots were exposed. One of former President Bush's greatest accomplishments was to keep the U.S. safe since the Sept 11, 2001. President Obama has shown himself to be unfit to be Commander in Chief by banning harsh interrogation methods. Failure to obtain al-Qaida plans from captured terrorists will result in thousands of U.S. casualties so that the president can posture as Mr. Nice Guy to our enemies.
