Armed robber sought in Glen Ellyn

Glen Ellyn police Friday were continuing to search for an armed robber who took $60 from a convenience store early Thursday morning. The robbery happened about 2 a.m. at the 7-Eleven at 803 N. Main Street, police said. The suspect entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk wasn't injured. Police describe the suspect as a white male, standing about 5 feet 9 inches with a medium build. He was wearing a multicolored jacket, a hat and surgical-type mask on his face.
