'Kung Fu Panda: The Series' headed to TV

NEW YORK -- Kung Fu Panda is coming to U.S. television.
The Nickelodeon cable network says that "Kung Fu Panda: The Series," will tell new adventures of Po, the frisky martial arts panda from the 2008 film "Kung Fu Panda."
The series' 26 episodes will be animated in the same computer-generated process as the film.
It's the second co-production between DreamWorks Animation and Nickelodeon. In March, the network launched "The Penguins of Madagascar," adapted from DreamWorks' successful 2005 film "Madagascar."
