Will apologist approach work?

I just read a report from The Associated Press that gleefully predicted the nation's economic skies will begin to clear up by the end of 2009.

It amazes me how many people are under the spell of the great Obama propaganda machine. Why wouldn't the economic situation improve? The Obama administration has spent more in three months than all of the spending for Iraq and Afghanistan in the Bush years combined.

How will this president now handle the growing discord in Pakistan as well as an emboldened Iran and North Korea? Hopefully, his America the Apologist approach will reap something.

This may be the calm before the storm. The exponentially growing deficit may be the least of our worries. At some point in time our nation's foreign policy or lack of, has to be void of national politics and we will have to address our current philosophy of promising everyone everything, but delivering nothing.
