Playboy Enterprises may name new chief executive officer today

Playboy Enterprises Inc., the men's magazine publisher, may announce a new chief executive officer today.

The board will meet today to decide the new CEO, Martha Lindeman, a spokeswoman for Chicago-based Playboy, said in an interview.

Jerome Kern has been interim chairman and CEO since the departure of Christie Hefner, who stepped down in January, ending two decades at the helm of the magazine her father started in 1953.
