Wie confirms she will play at Women's British Open

LYTHAM ST. ANNES, England -- Hawaii golfer Michelle Wie will play at the Women's British Open this summer.
The LPGA Tour rookie confirmed Monday she will be in the field at Royal Lytham on July 30-Aug. 2.
The 19-year-old Wie finished third at the Women's British Open in 2005.
She is 22nd on the money list with two top-10 finishes in five starts this season.
