Hanover Pk. teen arrested for armed robbery
Hanover Park police have arrested a 19-year-old from Bartlett who they say tried to rob a man with a box cutter early Tuesday.
Hector Del Bosque, of the 2000 block of Woodhaven Drive, was charged with attempted armed robbery. A Cook County judge on Thursday set his bond at $30,000, of which he must post 10 percent to be released.
Police said a drug-related altercation between Del Bosque and another 19-year-old male occurred around 12:30 a.m. on the 6900 block of Meadowbrook Lane. Del Bosque, cut with his own box cutter in the chest and arm, was treated and released from St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates.
Del Bosque's next court date is May 28 in Rolling Meadows.
