Aurora cops arrest man on battery warrants
Aurora police have taken into custody a 28-year-old man wanted on several domestic violence-related warrants.
Adam M. Solis, of the 1100 block of Douglas Avenue, Aurora, was arrested Saturday night by officers with the Special Operations Group Investigators during a traffic stop at Rural and High Streets in Aurora.
Dan Ferrelli, spokesman for the Aurora Police Department, said Solis had been wanted on two felony domestic battery charges and three misdemeanors for telephone harassment from incidents that allegedly occurred between March 30 and April 17 in both Kane and DuPage Counties. He allegedly battered a 30 year old woman and threatened a 21 year old woman in those incidents.
Ferrelli said Solis remains in the DuPage County Jail.
