2 shot, 1 killed on NW Side

Chicago police say a 21-year-old man has been shot to death and a companion was wounded in what appears to have been a gang-related attack in the Albany Park neighborhood of the city's northwest side.

Police News Affairs Officer Amina Greer says the victims were walking through an alley in the 4800 block of North Troy Avenue early Sunday morning when someone stepped out of a red vehicle and fired on them before getting back in the vehicle and fleeing.

No arrests had been made as of early Sunday morning.
