Here's where Lou ran his campaign
I take personal offense to Dan Regna's ridiculous charges that McHenry County State's Attorney Lou Bianchi ran his campaign out of the office.
I am one of more than two dozen campaign committee members who met each month at the Crystal Lake Panera to work on Lou Bianchi's re-election campaign. This is where Lou Bianchi ran his campaign. The room was booked each month by the campaign committee. It was written down and calendared in the Panera reservation book. I am sure that the managerial staff can verify this for you.
We had a full agenda each time and we all worked hard. In addition, sometimes we met at his house and scores of additional volunteers picked up literature and walked door to door for him. Another time over 100 volunteers met at Rebars warehouse and assembled campaign literature for him.
The public can rest assured that Lou Bianchi spent his time at the office working for them. You have only to look at the phenomenal accomplishments of the state's attorneys office since he took office four years ago and you will see the truth.
