DuPage GOP's double standard

It looks like the Republicans, especially Don Puchalski, are using the double standard when it comes to accepting money from Cook County labor unions. When Democrats do it, the Republicans complain about Cook County influence. When Republicans take the money, it's a different spin. Puchalski stated: "If anyone thought this was done because of my transportation post, they're way off." Really, Don? It's odd that his invitation has "chairman of the transportation committee" under his name. Now that the DuPage County Board has raised the issue of ethics reform, let's see how long it takes before they adopt a policy that ends "pay to play." Maybe they'll wait until they load up their coffers with play money.
