Scouting Seattle Sounders FC: Like the Fire of 1998, this is not your typical expansion team. When goalkeeper Kasey Keller finishes games, the Sounders (4-2-0, 12 points) haven't lost. In factm Keller hasn't allowed a goal since returning from Europe. The attack features Freddie Ljungberg, Fredy Montero and former Fire forward Nate Jaqua.
Scouting the Fire: The Fire (2-0-4, 10 points) has been finding inventive ways to allow goals this season, but somehow the team has gotten away with it to remain unbeaten. Forward Brian McBride is the MLS Player of the Month for April. He leads the league with 5 goals.
