The tax extension is set by the Kane County clerk, and land values are overseen by the supervisor of assessments.
The bill is based on levies set by taxing bodies in 2008. It is payable in two installments, one June 1 and the second Sept. 1.
The property assessments are based on an average of values as of Jan. 1 of 2008, 2007 and 2006.
