Car fire on Addams Tollway ramp at Arlington Heights Rd.

Illinois State Police were called to the scene of a car fire Sunday morning.

State police Master Sgt. Robert Fierstein said police and fire responded to a report about 7:30 a.m. of a vehicle that was pulled over and smoking south of the Arlington Heights Road exit on the Jane Addams Tollway.

Fierstein said Elk Grove Village firefighters doused the flames. No one was injured.

The cause has yet to be determined.
