Kane County

• Lucas M. Cowart, 19, of the 3700 block of Greenwood Lane, St. Charles, was arrested at 1:23 a.m. Thursday and charged with marijuana possession and underage drinking on the 42W500 block of Ironwood Court, Campton Township, police said.

• Patrick W. Peterson, 20, of the 1300 block of Adams Court, St. Charles Township, was arrested at 10:36 p.m. Wednesday and charged with marijuana possession during a traffic stop near Villa Marie Road and Weber Drive, St. Charles Township, police said. Peterson also was issued a loud music citation, according to a police report.

• Spray-paint graffiti caused an estimated $500 in damage to a driveway on the 36W800 block of Red Haw Drive, St. Charles Township, according to a report filed Thursday.

• A welder, leaf blower and tiller valued at $650 were reported stolen Thursday from a garage on the 42W700 block of Star Lane, St. Charles Township, according to a police report.

Geneva

• Leonard Z. Ball, 33, of the 800 block of Howell Drive, was charged with two counts of domestic battery at 9:08 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report. He is accused of pushing a female, poking her in the chest, and throwing dog biscuits at her.

Batavia

• Jennifer M. Peck, 26, of the 300 block of North Lancaster, Aurora, was charged with retail theft at 8:50 p.m. Thursday, according to police. She is accused of taking a ring from Kohl's, 251 N. Randall Road.
