Wheaton North 6, Naperville North 4: Trey Martin improved to 5-0 on the mound while the Falcons stayed unbeaten at 12-0 overall and 5-0 in the DuPage Valley Conference. Martin scattered 7 hits in his complete game to edge Naperville North (10-4, 3-2) and ace Jake Naumann (4-1).
WW South 7, West Aurora 0: Taylor Rhoades and Alex Lopez each drove in 2 runs for the Tigers (9-5, 3-2) in their DuPage Valley Conference road win.
West Chicago 7, Glenbard East 0: Tyler Christ's 2-run homer sparked a 5-run third inning for the Wildcats (10-5, 3-2). Jordan Long (3-2) fired a 4-hitter with 4 strikeouts in the DuPage Valley Conference game.
Neuqua Valley 7, Streamwood 0: Kyle Mener homered twice and drove in 4 runs as the Wildcats (8-5, 3-0) and complete-game winning pitcher Kevin Clendening (5-0) rolled to the Upstate Eight Conference victory.
Lake Park 11, East Aurora 1: Brian Norwood doubled and homered, and Ryan Rapshus also went deep for the Lancers (2-9, 1-4), who scored in six of the seven innings of their Upstate Eight Conference win. Kevin Miller (1-1) was the winning pitcher.
Waubonsie Valley 6, Elgin 5: Winning pitcher Kevin Kirchner (2-2) singled home the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the seventh inning for the Warriors (4-8, 3-3) in their Upstate Eight Conference win.
Driscoll 11, Aurora Central 1: The Highlanders (11-7, 5-3) scored 4 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to end the Suburban Catholic Conference game. Gabe Tumlos went 2-for-3 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI. Anthony Reaber (3-1) allowed no earned runs over 5 innings.
St. Francis 8, Lisle 1: The Spartans (7-10) scored 4 runs in the third and fifth innings to pull ahead in their nonconference win over the Lions (8-7). Matt Massa improved to 2-1.
Hinsdale Central 16, Willowbrook 6: The Red Devils (8-6) ended the West Suburban Conference crossover by scoring 7 runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Josh Camalick went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI. Ryan Connelly drove in 4 runs in support of winning pitcher David Kiyosaki (2-2).
Addison Trail 13, Proviso West 2: The Blazers (5-13) exploded for 5 runs in the sixth inning and 6 runs in the seventh while pulling away to the West Suburban Conference crossover win. Kevin Babica was the winning pitcher.
