Scouting the Boston Breakers: Guided by former U.S. women's national team coach Tony DiCicco, the Breakers have Kelly Smith leading the league in scoring. Heather Mitts and Amy LePeilbet (Crystal Lake) help form the core of the defense.
Scouting the Chicago Red Stars: This team has too much talent not to score, but even with 18 shots the Red Stars couldn't find the Sky Blue FC net last week. Coach Emma Hayes is preaching patience. The defense has been very good.
Next game: vs. Sky Blue FC, May 10.
