Chance of snow in forecast overnight

Two days of rain may turn into snow overnight as temperatures continue to plummet throughout the day, according to Accuweather.

The forecast for later today and early Tuesday calls for windy conditions with periods of rain possibly mixing with snow, forecasters say. The storm could drop an additional quarter inch of precipitation overnight.

Temperatures should stay above 40 until after midnight, but could drop to near the mid-30s for the morning rush tomorrow. The low for tomorrow is 37 in the morning, 34 later in the day. There also could be wind gusts above 30 mph.

Winter's return will be short-lived, however. Wednesday's high is 55 and Thursday and Friday will be sunny and clear with temperatures hitting the 70s.
