DeWitte grateful for 4 more years

On behalf of the entire DeWitte for Mayor Campaign Committee, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the voters of St. Charles who have overwhelmingly supported my re-election to the office of mayor.

Four years ago, in similar fashion, you the voters chose a new direction for our community that I proposed then would return our community's municipal philosophy to one of conservative fiscal management, of promoting aggressive commercial development, redevelopment and business retention, and continuing to improve the quality of municipal services in return for the taxes we all pay as residents. With your confirmation of that direction on April 7, I pledge to continue the process of maintaining that direction to ensure St. Charles will always remain "The Pride of the Fox."

To those of you who chose to support my opponent, while disagreement will always be a part of the democratic process I commit to continue to promote an open and transparent government environment, to ensure that all residents of our community will have the opportunity to have their input recognized and considered, at every level of our municipal government's processes, policies and procedures.

It is with a great deal of gratitude, humility, and commitment that I look forward to serving my community as your mayor for the next four years.
