"Blue Gold: World Water Wars"

This fascinating documentary won the Audience Choice Award for Best Environmental Film at the Vancouver International Film Festival and Best Documentary at the Beloit International Film Festival. It is based on the book by Maude Barlow and Tony Clark, and shows the conflicts from the diminishing water supply around the world. The documentary examines how, in every country, we are polluting water, and what is happening as countries privatize their water supply. There is a private war around the world for water, as we see examples of people fighting for their rights for water, and some even dying for it. Water has become a commodity, and we are willing to pay for it.

This is a must-see film that will shock some, and a wake up call for others.
