How about tax on junk, fast food?
With the new federal tax on tobacco to pay for health care, when is the cost of fast food/junk food going to go up? With the new tax plus the state lawsuits, the cost of cigarettes has tripled in 10 years. If the government is really concerned about people's health and the cost to pay of it, fast food/junk food should go up. Why should only smokers have to pay to cover the cost of kids' health care? I would think more little kids eat junk food/fast foods than smoke. Maybe their parents should help cover the cost?
