Global Real Estate Auctions launched by former Inland execs

CHICAGO - New auctions firm Global Real Estate Auctions Inc. said Wednesday it will hold its inaugural auction in June. The firm was launched by John DeMato, a former vice president and principal Indiana broker with Inland Real Estate Auctions, and a team of former executives who worked at Inland with its founder to establish that company as a national brand in the auction market. Built on a consulting and advisory platform with auctions as its primary focus, the company seeks not only to meet the upcoming new demand but also help redefine auction services for both private and public property owners. Global's principals, brokers and agents have participated in auction sales on behalf of Fortune 500 companies such as Intel Corporation (marketing a chip plant in Las Piedras, Puerto Rico), Harris Bank and General Electric, among others.
