Cab hits Chicago restaurant
Chicago authorities say a cab has crashed into a restaurant in the city's downtown theater district, damaging a front door and sending glass onto the sidewalk.
Chicago Fire Department spokesman Larry Langford says no one was hospitalized after Tuesday's crash. Two people declined medical attention at the scene.
Around 2 p.m., cab driver Taoseek Rahman claims he was trying to pick up a passenger and was hit from behind by another car.
Authorities say his cab crashed into Petterino's near the Goodman Theatre.
Sue Chernoff is a spokeswoman for Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises, which owns the restaurant. She says the damage to the building's structure was minor, but did not have a cost estimate.
Chicago police had no further details.
