Parkins named CIG president
Chicago Investment Group, a full-service, five-office investment boutique, announced it has hired 30-year investment veteran Thomas J. Parkins as president of the organization, replacing Robert Acri, who will continue to provide asset management expertise while working with CIG's investment advisory division.
Parkins will assume responsibility for managing 77 CIG investment professionals in the firm's five offices in Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, Boston and Boca Raton. Parkins will also manage all facets of operations and report directly to the firm's chairman, CEO and founder, Richard Lynch.
Among other roles, Parkins has led wealth management operations for businesses including UBS Financial Services, Piper Jaffray, Lehman Brothers.
