D-C attaboy from Jacobs was classy

As I passed the Harry D. Jacobs High School marquee on Randall Road recently, I was impressed with the message I read. I would imagine that everyone in the Fox Valley is aware of the recent trip the Dundee-Crown boys basketball team made to the state tournament. The marquee read, "DC BOYS BB HDJ AND THE FVC ARE PROUD OF YOU." What a wonderful display of good sportsmanship, particularly to your arch rival in the Fox Valley Conference. I congratulate Principal Michael Bregy, basketball coach James Hinkle and the entire Jacobs High School staff and student body. This gesture of fair play will stay with the students long after their algebraic equations are forgotten.
