Obama budget is pure fantasy

The Herald failed its readers during the election, and is failing them now.

Buried on Page 2 of the March 21st Saturday paper under an innocuous headline is the Congressional Budget Office's determination that President Obama's budget estimates are pure fantasy.

Obama is quadrupling Bush-era war deficits while planning to cut national defense like Clinton. Inform your readers of this massive welfare plan. More than nine trillion dollars added to the national debt for welfare and government growth deserves a prominent front page headline, especially when the Congressional Budget Office shows Obama's description of his budget to be dishonest or inept.
