Q. Who is your political role model?

A. I never had a political role model. My problem was when I was going up, I always wanted to be an attorney. As far as politics, when I was 18, I started to poll watch for someone.

Q. What is the first thing you want to change?

A. First of all I have to sit down with my board and we need to look at what we need to do ... we owe 39,000 residents that.

Q. What is your favorite movie?

A. "Bambi." I have a collection of Bambi stuff I haven't opened. I was in love with Bambi from the time I was growing up. I was 15/16 years old maybe younger when it first came out. Bambi is my all-time favorite.

Q. How did you celebrate?

A. We were at Market Square. About 300 people were there watching the returns. We had a big buffet.

Q. What's the last good book you read?

A. Truthfully, I haven't been able to read a good, good book in a long time. Recently, got a copy of "Margerie Morningstar." I read it when I was 24 years old. Hopefully I'm going to pick it up and read it again. I just enjoyed it.

Q. Cubs or Sox?

A. Cubs all the way. But I always wish the best to a Chicago team. I was born and raised on the north side of Chicago and used to walk on the side of the railroad tracks to get over to Addison and watch the Cubs game.
