So what's your new mayor like? The Daily Herald asked our new mayors and village presidents a few 'get to know you' questions Wednesday, the day after voters chose them to lead their communities.
Q. Who is your political role model?
A. Ronald Reagan. I like the way he worked hard to get everyone involved in decision making.
Q. What is the first thing you want to change?
A. I would make some basic changes in the structure of how we hold our meetings to make them less formal.
Q. What is your favorite movie?
A. James Bond "Live and Let Die"
Q. How did you celebrate?
A. I went to Randall Roadhouse and ate pizza and soft drinks with some supporters.
Q. What's the last good book you read?
A. I mostly read magazines like the US News & World Report and Reader's Digest.
Q. Cubs or Sox?
A. Cubs, with Sox a close second.
