Moylan tops field in Gail Borden Library

Three newcomers were elected to the Gail Borden Public Library Board Tuesday.

Sue Moylan, a retired college administrator and former Elgin City Council member, led a four-person field for the three, 4-year seats, according to unofficial results.

Joining her will be Jessica Thompson, a bike project planner who wrote her thesis about technology in the Chicago Public Library system, and Randy Hopp, a retired engineer and vocal library critic. Herb Gross, a library trustee since 2007, finished last. Trustees Zlatko Koprivec and Larry Wegman did not seek re-election.
