For the village board, incumbent trustee James McDonald and newcomers Raymond Jelinek and Kathleen Battistone were elected to the three open seats Tuesday, besting incumbent Darlene Hall.
Unofficial totals showed Loffredo had 685 votes to Frayer's 460 votes. McDonald had 685 votes, Jelinek had 697 votes and Hall had 557 votes.
From mayor to trustee, the candidates' views and goals were similar. Most favored bolstering the village's economy through careful planning and controlled spending.
