Incumbents roll in Round Lake Heights
Voters in Round Lake Heights stayed with incumbents in Tuesday's village election. With all three precincts reporting, incumbent Mayor Terrance Lumpkins drew 332 votes to challenger Jeffrey S. Kissinger's 128.
Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow candidates swept the three trustee seats with Jeff Katzel getting 312 votes, Andy Walker 295 and Jeremy McIntyre 283. Party for Putting People First candidates Edward Liberman had 143 votes, Ginger Berndt 127 and John Bender 97. Independent Kevin Hedlund got 57 votes. Village Clerk Marla Frontzak outpaced challenger Heather Reimer 328 votes to 130.
