Wolves can't get past Flames
The Chicago Wolves fell 2-1 to the Quad City Flames on Friday night at the I Wireless Center in Moline.
Center Matt Anderson scored the Wolves' goal, and goaltender Ondrej Pavelec turned aside 40 of 42 shots.
The Wolves, battling for the fourth and final playoff spot in the West Division, sit in seventh place, 7 points behind the Rockford IceHogs with four games remaining. They wrap a three-game road trip Sunday in Milwaukee.
