Thriving downtown a testament to Mulder's vision

Arlington Heights has a lively, active downtown. I attribute much of this to our mayor, Arlene Mulder. She's smart, dynamic and visionary.

While her vision helped create our downtown, Arlene has also worked hard to attract businesses to other locations in the village, such as the Bob Rohrman Auto Group on Dundee Road, Lowe's on Golf Road and, more recently, Roundy's Supermarkets, which will build on the Lattof Chevrolet property on Northwest Highway.

We need these strong, viable businesses! Their sales tax revenues come directly back to the village and go into our municipal budget each year. We also need involved leadership to attract these businesses. Let's continue to see our community thrive. There are two ways to do this: Shop in Arlington Heights as I do - and re-elect Arlene Mulder on April 7.
