Fellow teacher supports Ritter

I am writing in support of Ed Ritter, who is running for Carpentersville village president. I have worked with Ed for the past three years at Westfield Community School, and I believe he would be an excellent leader for the village of Carpentersville.

Ed is a teacher and team leader who genuinely cares for his students and fellow co-workers. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to ensure his students succeed both in and outside of the classroom. Ed's ability to make informative decisions while taking in the thoughts and feeling of his co-workers makes him an effective leader.

Three years ago I began my new adventure as a first-year teacher at Westfield. What could have been an overwhelming and stressful situation became a rewarding, exciting, and comfortable one because of the support I had from Ed Ritter. He has always supported me and given me constructive feedback on how to be a better teacher. I am confident Ed Ritter will show the same concern and interest for the residents of the village of Carpentersville that he showed for me.
