Vote to retain Hannell-Miller

If you're tired of all the greed and dishonesty of some of our elected leaders, then vote on April 7 to retain Annette Hannell-Miller as our Elgin Township supervisor. Annette grew up in Elgin, attended St. Lawrence Grade School, St. Edward High School and Western Illinois University, graduating with a law enforcement and sociology degree. She then completed an internship with the Elgin police department.

Annette has served three years as our township supervisor, being voted in by the trustees on the township board to complete Doug Johnson's term, after his untimely death.

Annette's most important job is her family, including husband Kurt and daughter, Leah, a sophomore at St. Edward. Her next priority is her job with the township where she has been for the past 22 years. For all of these years, all of us, including seniors, veterans and children have benefited by Annette's quiet, but competent leadership. Be skeptical of the "spin" that will be in the mail, over the air and knocking on your door over the next few weeks.
