Keller, Osth, Hanley for West Dundee

I was privileged to serve as a trustee for the village of West Dundee from 1985 through 1997 and then was honored by my appointment to the village board from February 2008 to the present. My being away from the activities of the "inner city" for some 10 plus years has given me an opportunity to judge the progress and accomplishments of our village.

Village services are exceptional and fees for such as vehicle stickers, garbage pickup, fire and police protection, paramedic services, and snow removal are either nonexistent or minimal. Leadership has reduced the number of employees and eliminated assistant managerial positions resulting in great savings to the taxpayer and making efficient use of the resources of our community. Our existing village personnel work cooperatively between departments under a leadership that is knowledgeable, able to motivate, and instills pride in their jobs and the community. A new safety center has been built and wells to provide water to all potential growth are in place and paid for. All of this and more has been provided with a property tax rate that is lower than all other adjacent and similar communities in the Fox Valley.

How does this happen? Quality leadership. A leadership that surrounds itself with capable employees and the ability and willingness to make difficult decisions as needed for the welfare of the village and its constituents and the entire community. These qualities have been provided by our village president, Larry Keller, and Trustees Norman Osth and Pat Hanley. These three are up for re-election and have earned our support. They are knowledgeable, dedicated and have proven their commitment to our village - West Dundee. All three deserve our vote April 7.
