Religion isn't liberal or conservative
While your article was informative regarding the division between Episcopalians over the "gay" issues afflicting them, your portrayal of the "conservative" problem with this missed the point.
Judeo-Christian people are not liberal or conservative. They are individuals that accept the Torah and New Testament writings as God's commentary on his inventions (humanity) in every dimension. Religion must be about pleasing God or it is worthless.
If I may venture a criticism it would only be that you didn't cite the overwhelming biblical condemnation (i.e reasons most Episcopal have a problem with this) of such behavior and the mentality that goes into its obsessions. The fact that such people are so selfish as to infiltrate and corrupt an institution that was clearly founded on the morality of the bible is an indication of the greed and arrogance that is so much part of these people lives. If they want this, let them make their own church as they have no right to force others to accept their vice.
