Hill for betterment of all Genevans

I am the owner of a small business and have lived in Geneva for 33 years. I have known Sam Hill for most of that time, having sung in the choir at Fox Valley Presbyterian Church with Sam for 15-20 years. Sam is one of the most caring, committed and hardworking individuals I know. He does his homework on issues.

I know Sam to be fully dedicated to the well-being of Geneva. This includes a good sense of paying attention to future needs. Sam is energetic and has a world view, having recently made mission trips with church groups to the Gulf Coast (to help with reconstruction in the wake of Katrina) and to Guatemala (to help with the installation of a water-purification facility for a small village). And although Sam is a member of the senior demographic, he addresses the concerns and needs of all generations. I see him fostering the growth and development of young people in the church, in school and in their careers.

I support Sam Hill for re-election to the city council.
