Mt. Prospect man co-chairs Monarch Ball

Mary Anne Harper, Francis Cardinal George and Peter Goschy welcomed guests to the 15th anniversary Monarch Ball, a March 7 black-tie gala for Resurrection Health Care at the Hilton Chicago Hotel and Towers.

Harper, of Chicago, and Goschy, who lives in Mount Prospect, were co-chairs of the gala, one of Chicago's largest charity events. Harper is a clinical nurse manager at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lincoln Park and Goschy is a regional vice president for Senior Services and the administrator of Saint Benedict Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Niles.

Nearly 1,100 guests enjoyed the benefit which also featured a surprise guest performance by seven-year-old Emily Bear, a gifted pianist and composer from Rockford, who has also made appearances at the White House and The Ravinia Festival. Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx also dazzled the crowd with a 75 minute concert.

Proceeds from the gala will support the West Suburban College of Nursing, a member of Resurrection Health Care. Resurrection Health Care is a family of health care services providing advanced medical care and exceptional customer service with compassion and hope.

Holy Family Medical Center and Holy Family Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, both in Des Plaines, are also members of Resurrection Health Care which is sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth and the Sisters of the Resurrection.
