Let's stay with experience in Inverness

Our upcoming Inverness village election is a very important one indeed!

Although every election is very important this one could adversely effect our village for years. First, I give my full support to our current President Jack Tatooles.

This is a crucial time in our village's history. Now more than ever we need Jack Tatooles' tested and proactive leadership. I have always fought for what I thought was best for Inverness over the two decades-plus I have lived here and will continue to do so for you!

There are way too many other things to go into in this letter but know this fact: At the time Jack's opponent filed to run for mayor she had not attended a village board meeting in the 12 years Jack Tatooles had attended every dingle meeting.

She has never held any position in Inverness - a board or committee, nothing - but she decided to run for change?

Not all change is good and to go from tested experienced leadership to a "rookie" could have catastrophic effects for the village I love! We have a wonderful village Web site that gets 4,000 hits plus per month. We send out a village newsletter to every home in Inverness 4 times a year. All meetings are OPEN to the public and the mayor and trustees are always available to talk. Most of us have our home number on our village business card.

So you are given a choice on April 7 - vote for experience with me and cast your vote for Jack Tatooles; proven tested leadership in Jack Tatooles or someone who can't even be bothered to get to a village board meeting.
